I was looking for some general purpose scissors to use around the house for non-sewing related tasks like cutting paper for arts and crafts and homeschool related activities as well as opening plastic bags and the like. This set came with 3 scissors, all the same size which is a great all purpose size and easy to use. All 3 scissors have the same handle but each has a slightly different colored blade section. One is sort of a dark gray, one is sort of gold colored, and the third is the more typical silver color. Since all the handles look the same, the different colored blades at least are useful to help keep track of which scissors go where in case you want to designate them for specific uses or locations. I have used the scissors on paper mainly, including cardstock, and plastic bags, and they work very well and seem quite sharp. The handles are comfortable in the hand.

When I ordered these scissors, I ddn't read as well as I should have and see that these are not made of titanium, but are stainless steel scissors with a titanium plating on the blades. Well, I can't really teel if that is true or not. They look the same, actually, and operate no smoother than my older scissors with just the regular unplated stainless steel. As a result, the scissor metals are three different colors. A gunmetal grey, and gold color, and a silver color. The weight is good, but I wouldn't use these scissors for things any thicker than a chipboard or thin cardboard. Being stainless, once these get dull, they will be hard to sharpen. But at least they are cheap enough to buy more.
