I rotated my raised garden this summer & needed to adjust my existing drip irrigation configuration to match. This was the perfect kit for making those small adjustments. The 1/4 tubing, tees and emitters are the main items I used. They were easy to work with combined with the tools and bigger tubing I already have that runs to my 3 garden beds. If I were starting a new drip irrigation system for my raised garden, this kit wouldn't be enough mainly because there is no step down from full water pressure to the 1/4 tubing which would create leaks or cracks in the plastic faucet connector in pretty short order. If you're occasionally watering a couple of plants manually (not with the water automatically started by a timer), this could be a good solution.

I was excited to try this kit with my rain barrel, but it didnt work as well as I hoped. It came with no instructions, which didnt help, but I was able to follow the information on the ZeeBooth web page. Here are my findings: tubing connected VERY well (better than other kits) and seems good quality adjustable emitters worked okay and are sufficient for simple projects to water outdoor planters the water connector with splitter that I used to connect to a timing device on my rain barrel did NOT connect tightly and leaked a steady stream of water, even when I used the included thread tape (see photo) The depth of the threads to connect to the water device is quite shallow and less than quarter of an inch, which may be part of the leakage problem (see photo). When I switched out this kits green connector with one from a different kit, I did not have significant water leakage. When I tried connecting this kit to an outside faucet, it leaked even worse and the dual green connectors popped off due to the water pressure (even on very low). Due to the excessive water leakage, Im not using this kit. If I can find another kit that uses 7mm tubing (unfortunately, not a standard size), Ill evaluate whether to use this kits tubing and emitters.

I have had problems using soaker hoses in my raised beds over the last couple of years, so I thought Id try a drip system. The main problem with this kit is there are no instructions. But also the Y connector thats supposed to hook to the faucet is total crap and wont screw on fully and just pops off as soon as theres any water pressure. Without that main connection I can't really test the rest of the system. Ive ordered a quality Y connector and will try using the one faucet connector provided to use the rest of the kit in the higher bed and maybe try a new soaker hose coming off the other end for the lower bed. But obviously I am disappointed and would not order this product again.

My house only has two sprinkler zones, both in the front yard and the sides of the lawn, nothing in the back yard. The last sprinkler heads in both zones is at the back corner of the house, so I used both of them by removing the sprinkler heads and replacing them with the adapters from the kit. I then used half the tubing and different drip/spray heads to water the plants around both sides of my lanai. I still have to run a hose sprinkler in my back yard a few times a week in the summer, but until I can afford to add a 3rd zone to my system for the back yard this kit will keep the plants watered every time the system runs for the front yard.
