I got these magnet clips because I do quit a lot of events now where I need to hang many posters from my pop up canopy and table. I'd been using masking tape, which works great, but it takes time to apply it and then remove it at the end of each event. I wanted some magnetic clips to help speed up the process and eliminate the waste of the tape. These work quite well. The clips stayed attached to my laminated posters and kites the whole time. It was particularly windy when I used these yesterday, so I needed to use 2 clips per poster. They mostly stayed up, though a couple of them still fell. On a less windy day, these would ace the event 100%. Tear down was sooo much faster with these clips. I wish I'd thought of these sooner. The only thing to remember, though, is that of your canopy frame is aluminum, then these magnetic clips won't work for you, which is kind of sad. The magnets themselves were medium-med high strength. Not super strong like neodymium, but definitely not weak. They came with clear round stickers, which I applied to the face of each magnet - I think those are to keep the black from rubbing off the magnet and onto whatever surface you are mounting to.

These magnetic clips are a great addition to my clip collection. I had a very old clip of this type on my fridge that had actually started to rust so I was very glad to finally replace it (although my old one had a stonger magnet). THe magnet on these are quite strong so that magnet will hold the weight of the clip and whatever I have clipped to it (so far). The clips are strong enough. I'm not trying to use these to hold a novel, just a few pieces of paper, so they work quite well. I really like that they come with little stickers to put on the magnets so that the magnets won't scratch my fridge, although I would think that the magnets could have been coated in the factory to prevent them from scratching surfaces. That coating may reduce the magnet's holding ability - but not by much, it's very thin. All that being said I do highly recommend these if you like to hang reminders or mementos on your refrigerator.

My office has cubicles, which are spacious and modern, but lack the ability to hang stuff on the walls without damaging the fabric. I discovered that the partition seams were metal, as well as mid panel supports, all of which can hold a magnet with a modest load. I brought several home for the fridge too, and these work very well. The matte black finish is pleasant and modern.

I love these magnets. They are strong and stay on my whiteboard perfectly. I use them to hang flyers that I need for school! I would recommend them.

I know the listing mentions cruise ships, but I cant speak to that use. Im using these at school to hold student work. The magnets are very strong and the clips work well, so these are serving my purpose well. No complaints.
