The black canvas with leather trim looks high end, and the zippers and snaps are of good quality. The main compartment of this kit is roomy, and has several storage pockets on the inside. In addition, theres a separate zipper pocket on the outside, which has several compartments also. The interior is fully lined in a water resistant fabric, which will help prevent leakage from toiletries onto clothes and other items in a travel bag. Together, the canvas skin and interior liner of the Dopp kit is lightweight, and does not have much body. This is a positive if you want one that doesnt add weight to your luggage, and a negative if you are looking for a kit with more structure that will hold its shape without toiletries in it. I believe it will hold up best with more limited use, which works in my case. Overall, it's a nice kit and will serve the purpose.

I was really looking to replacing the toiletry bags I had been using that had no compartments at all and everything was just jumbled inside. This bag looked very promising in the ad photos but the so-called separate compartments was very misleading as the major part of the inside is basically just one big compartment with two zippers leading to the same space. Everything you put in that you would like to stand up falls over, so you may as well not have any compartments for larger standing items. I tried to capture that in the photos.

The zipper pulls are comfortable with a smooth action, and the button for the top compartment allows the main compartment to be securely closed.

This pouch is useful for traveling whether across the country or just a quick weekends trip to a cabin for the weekend. It has enough storage room for the high maintenance guy as well as provides a place for the low maintenance guy to put his deodorant and tooth brush. Very nice sppearance and a canvas material that appears durable and water resistant. Nice double zipper on top as well as velcro closure. A separate side pocker offers more flexibility in storage of items as well. Overall a great bag and would recommend for any guy.
