The description says .5 but they feel more like .38 size pens. A little scratchy if you write fast. Definitely not meant for drawing, but I doodles with it anyway! To use the pencil push the clip downwards, click for more lead, press a color to retract the pencil. Enjoy!
This pen is comfortable and most of all 4 colors ink and a pencil. What more could you ask for in a pen that wrights smooth. Has a good grip and the thing that hooks to your pocket has a little pull back place so it easily fits in pocket and stays there. I highly recommend this product that refills are available everywhere .
