Perfect Color

Super happy that the color was spot on to match a garnet red Prom dress. Used some for the garter, sent some to the florist for the corsage/boutonniere and have plenty to spare, which will probably be used for Freshies (My Daughter's Side Hustle to High School)!

Wonderful ribbon

I bought this ribbon for a costume I made for Halloween, it was perfect.

I wash my fabric , first, for shrinkage, then press. When I apply the ribbon it stays flat. Yea!

Absolutely gorgeous

The ribbon is absolutely beautiful and very soft as compared to the ribbon that I remember using that was also on a long spool. Although, back then, I stumbled across similar ribbon in a Chinese import store for around $1.25! It has been a few decades since I have made this bow and had to go by memory and trial and error to figure it out. (I wrote a review about The World of Origami by Isao Honda. He had an earlier edition of that book that had other animals and how to make this bow in it.) The softness of the ribbon made it hard for me to work with but I am now 70 and realizing that I am losing my dexterity that I had when I first made the bow in my 20s or earlier. The ribbon would keep slipping out of place, but that was because of what it was made of, so that may be something to consider, but dont let that keep you from purchasing it. It is absolutely gorgeous and a great buy.
