pass through - new to me but clever

i had never used this pass through type before, definitely will yield a more consistent connection, probably with improved strain relief. worth a try.

Perfect contectors

Redoing the cables around the house. Ran out of connections but didn't need a whole bunch. This is a packet of 25. Just the right amount for my needs. Pass through feature makes them easy to use as well. The clip is strong and sturdy. It doesn't bend backwards as easily as some clips. Just what I needed. Now on to making the rest of the cables.

Perfectly Useable

Nothing overly remarkable about this item. Passthrough connectors can be easier to wire than other crimp connectors, just because you can check you got the wire order right after you insert the connector much more easily. These work greatgetting correct CAT6 functionality out of them.

offset pass throughs

These are very generic RJ45s. I was hoping these didn't offset the wires as they were pushing through, but they do, which makes it a little bit more complicated. But, it's manageable.

Good price

I remember when the original EZ passthrus came out, and they were expensive, like $1/ea. Obviously these are a lot cheaper. Once in a while I have to train a new helper. I use passthrus like these because its less waste. Passthrus all them to easily verify the colors are in.proper order before crimping, meaning a lot less miswires where fitting has to be cut off and tossed. Just note you generally need crimpers designed for passthru fittings because they have an edge blade that cuts the wires as you crimp. If you dont want to spend $ on the crimpers, never fear, the answer is here. Put the fitting on, verify colors, trime evenly with snips, slide line back a tad bit, and crimp with normal crimps. See how easy that is?! :-)
