Cost effective and solves the purpose well

I use a similar style clip for so many things: close snack bags, cat food bags, paperwork, my son's homework, etc. There's so many in this bag for this price! I am also enjoying the book page corner clips. I often have several books on different topics going at one time. I also have a cat that likes to either steal traditional bookmarks and/or throw the books off my desk, thereby losing my place. The corner clips prevent that from happening. I could also see a teacher giving these to their students to encourage reading. Overall, while the metals clips might not be as sturdy as some others you can purchase, for the price this product is fantastic.

Overall - great if you need a lot of colorful clips that can keep things together. If you are looking for precision and very strong hold like office binder clips - these are NOT those clips. These clips are ok for keeping chips bags closed (but you will want to use two) - they are good for holding things together so they don't get lost...but the strength of the hold isn't 100%. So I've taken to using two together for the various designs of the corner clips and the larger clip. I'm pretty happy with them and its nice to have so many of them because then I use them everywhere and I'm not worried about running out or losing them, or getting them back.

I'd never heard of "corner paper clips" before, but they're kind of neat. That's not why I ordered this product though. I wanted the wire clips to use them to make a ballcap rack. Yeah, I probably have too many ball caps. I didn't like any of the premade ballcap storage devices for various reasons, so I decided to make my own. I'm simply going to mount the wire clips to a wooden dowel, put a hook in the end to hang the dowel from a hook in the ceiling, and boom, all my hats are easily within reach but also out of the wayand I'll free up some shelf space. There are a lot of uses for these apart from their customary usage: hat hangers, chip clips, cable organizers, bookmarks and more. Good product and lots of pieces.

I ordered this set specifically for the triangle corner clips, and I was not disappointed. The optimal thickness they accommodate is about 5/16. They can be opened a bit more, but this would put a strain on the metal bands that hold them together. Unlike paper clips, these fasten at the outer corners and can secure pages of notebooks and journals together so that they open to a particular page. For me, this is particularly helpful in my gardening journal and daily planner. The color assortment contains both solid and translucent clips, so it is easy to find one that is readily seen or blends with the background. I have also used these to secure stacks of reference sheets. Held this way, it is possible to keep everything together as I flip through them while being able to remove something without worrying about staples. The wire sizes of the metal clips are a bit thinner than those of others Ive seen, but they are still useful. My comparison photo has a clip I purchased previously on the far left. The strip of bright sticky tabs was a nice bonus!
