Lies and slander

I don't know why all of the reviews on this say it works with android auto, because it doesn't. I bought 3 cords, none of them work. Please explain. Someone please explain.

There's a constant light that's always using electricity on the end of the cable

I wanted a fast charging cable that had good data throughput and this definitely does that. But I have it connected in my car, to use for Android Auto and unfortunately, it has an LED on the USB C end. So when my car is sitting in my driveway, this cable is pulling a very small amount of energy from the battery. This concerns me because I'm about to leave on a two-week trip. Is my car battery going to be dead when I get home? Should I unplug the cable each time I'm not using it? That impacts some of the convenience factor. Which is why I took a star off the review score. There are so many things in our homes and all around us bleeding pennies out of our bank accounts every day. This cable just seems like one more example of that.

Works for android auto

I needed a good cord for my car. It has android auto but if you use a cheap one, it will either not work at all, or will disconnect randomly. We do lots of road trips so it's important that my GPS isn't randomly disconnected. This cord fixed that.
