Solid core quilling paper, easy to roll

I purchased the blue-purple set. I'm not using this to make stars, but rather for paper quilling art projects. This is an art form made with rolled, curled and shaped paper mounted "on edge." The solid core is essential, since the edge is highly visible with this technique. This paper was cut smoothly, evenly and at a consistent size. It rolls nicely. The 1,080 sheet set I ordered came in two packs. The colors are vivid and lovely. The three purples in this set are close enough in shades to be a mid-tone, highlight and shadow color for each other; the blues are much further apart on the color spectrum, and there was a lovely cream/off-white color included as well. If you are getting this with the intention of making origami stars, then you will appreciate that there is also a visual, image-based step-by-step for folding paper stars included as well. Those visual instructions (no wording) are clear and relatively easy to follow. Very handy!

Great for Paper Quilling- Rolls Nicely, Good Useable Length, Takes Adhesive Well

This set of paper strips for making origami stars is quite versatile. I recently have taken up a new hobby, paper quilling. It is an old art form that making a comeback and starting to trend. It requires the use of many long, uniform paper strips. My first few projects were done from a kit, which included the tools and paper but of course the paper is consumable. This origami paper is a perfect replacement. The paper is of lightweight thickness, but thick enough to work with easily, and not very prone to tearing. It rolls nicely (a quilling thing), and adhesive adheres smoothly, evenly, and cleanly. I can't speak to it performance as an origami supply, but for paper quilling it is fantastic. Great buy.
