I have installed cameras on the outside of my home. This camera was my first attempt at installing something INSIDE my home. My biggest concern was having something big/bulky/ugly that draws your attention. I wouldn't say that this camera is the most beautiful/aesthically pleasing thing that I've ever seen. At ~2x2x2 (just the camera itself), it is a bit bigger than I would have hoped for... but what is most frustrating for me is that the brand name is plastered in nice big letters across the front of it. I appreciate that they want the attribution, but I'm worried that it stick out like a sore thumb. Beyond that, the camera is fine. I think the quality is good enough for my purposes. I do share similar sentiments with other customers where I turned off the motion notifications, because it was getting to be a little 'much.' Still, the picture was good enough. I'm not sure whether I would have been able to identify faces in the middle of the night-type of thing (unless I leave the camera light on), but I can certainly see what's going on & for my purposes that's good enough. The thick, black power cable could also have used some more thought. I think more often than not, indoors would match better with white (versus black), but moreso - I would have prefered a flat cable (and a longer one) rather than a standard, round USB cable. This would have added to the cost of the product, but it would have been better/less noticable to run along the edge of a wall, etc Based on the feedback from others, I paired the camera when I was close to the router & it was a relatively simple process. I haven't yet tried talking to the camera and/or seeing if I can have it 'talk to' my other smart home devices. I'm happy to recommend this camera. It is fairly basic, but it overall fit my needs

decent little camera. Instructions are a bit on the light side but once it's set up works fine. Nighttime vision is ok, daytime is great. Easy to install and set up for the most part. Nice that it works with both 5G and 2.4 MHz. Has app for control via your smartphone. A nice alternative to the more expensive brands.

I needed to replace one of our security cameras and this inexpensive model is packed with features and a nice upgrade from our older camera. Although Ive setup a half a dozen cameras in and around our home I did have trouble setting this one up last night. I installed the app and followed its instructions but after repeated tries I couldnt get the app to find this new camera. This morning I did read the instructions which said to place the camera within 6-9 feet of your router to set up the camera. I had been trying to do the setup on my workbench which is 28 feet from the router. I plugged the camera into one of my power banks and placed it right in front of my router and the app found it quickly and completing setup was a breeze:) The camera has human and pet recognition which works well but with 2 humans and a K9 running around our condo all day I was getting notifications constantly so I turned off the notification option. Also, I had a 256GB micro SD card on hand that I installed and reformatted in the camera without issue. All in all, a high quality security camera with lots of great features that works flawlessly. Recommended!
