This is a good strong battery. I connected it to an Adafruit Feather ESP32 and the Feather did not recognize the battery. From photos it appears the pins were swapped in the connector. Pretty easy to lift up the little retaining flap on the connector and remove each pin, putting them back the right-way 'round.

This arrived about 70%-charged at 3.87 volts. The ideal storage state for a Li-Ion cell is between 3.6 to 3.7 volts, and I usually prefer to see that level of charge on a new cell, but at least this did not arrive fully charged, which can stress the cell if left that way for months in a warehouse before use. In terms of construction this is perfect- the cell is evenly flat and thick, the weight is evenly distributed, and it has a tiny protection circuit in place for safe operation. This has a red positive wire and a black negative wire, it lacks any sort of temperature sensor (typically, a white wire) and that is actually why I chose it- many old devices did not use a sensor like that and this battery is perfect for them. The connector is a very common JST type, but as said in the product description you can easily snip that and rewire your own, or in my case after confirming all was working well just go ahead and direct solder this to your device's motherboard if that's how the original battery was connected. Getting an Android tablet to correctly sync to a new battery and report the charge level accurately is sometimes a real pain, not necessary to explain fully here, but in my case it only took three charge/discharge cycles to get the battery estimates to sync correctly, so that was good. My poor old tablet could barely run for 10 minutes on its aged, worn out battery, and this upgrade absolutely breathed new life into it. I'm getting almost 5 hours of runtime now, which is better than even when I first got it, and a real nice figure for a dated, not energy-efficient device. It is way better to replace old lithium batteries rather than chucking the devices they are inside of, and I am so happy to have my old tablet running like new again, even if I only use it as an MP4 player now. This battery pack has been working just great, charging and lasting long and never heating up in use. If you need a replacement LiPo battery pack for a tablet or toy, or even building something new, this pack did excellently for me and I recommend it fully- 5-stars!

Love getting these batteries to use with Arduino type projects. In this case I used this for the Lilygo T-Display S3 Long as it is a big display and need a little more power than some of their other products. This battery with it 8Ah rating should power this for a very long time. Battery charged fast and is working well, as always, just make sure you do not short these batteries out, as doing so can cause great harm to you and others, I rate this battery 10 out of 10 as it does what it says! it is a beast.

Worked great for my project! Did a battery upgrade in my ps vita from a 2000mah to this 4000mah and now I have endless gameplay time!

If you have the ability, this will give you more power and quicker charges to your ear pods. I had to solder a different connector on mine. Works great!
