If you do any messing around with low voltage circuits for LED's, motion detectors, etc, these VWEICYY 12V DC Adapter Plugs are great to have available for a quick repair job or installation. So for now these will go into the drawer with my miscellaneous electrical items like wire nuts, plugs, outlets, switches, etc. I give them four stars because a) they work as intended, b) they are easy to use, and c) the vendor included a little mini-phillips screwdriver that is perfect for the little screws that clamp the wires in place.

Quick and easy

I am reviewing the product "VWEICYY 12V DC Adapter Plug 5.5mm x 2.1mm, 10 Pair (10 x Male + 10 x Female)" on 23 April, 2024. These screw-terminal connectors are a real boon for experimenters and do-it-yourselfers. Without these time-savers, wiring up a connector end involves stripping your wires, twisting the joint, heating the joint, and insulating the splice. Compare that to the simplicity of stripping your wires, open the wire slots with a screwdriver, insert wires and hold them in place while re-closing the slots. Not only does this method save time, but also is neater in appearance, and is ready to be re-fashioned if necessary with minimal fuss. I acquired this bundimal for a solar-powered water feature in my backyard pond that needed an extended power wire between the solar panel and the pump. With these adapters I was able to quickly attach several lengths of wire together to make one long run to the panel. These handy adapters are easy to install, easy to use, and at 10 pair to an order, represent a good value. Recommended!

I do a lot of projects with LED lights. Almost always the first thing I do when I pull an LED strip out of the box is I clip the built in connector so that I can hardwire the strip directly in to a controller or a power supply. And, I am always running out of power supply connectors. This set has 10 male and 10 female connectors so now I have a lot of extras. The wire connectors are tightened using a small Phillips or flat head screwdriver. I have used wires as small as 22 gauge just fine with these connectors. And, I have used voltages from 5v to 24v with no problems.

Not much to say about these, other than they work & are exactly as they appear. 10 pairs of barrel jack connectors, with terminal blocks on either side. Very great for hobbies projects where you need to quickly disconnect power, or share one power supply with many projects and switch between them quickly. The thing that's nice about these is that they aren't meant to be attached to a PCB or breadboard, so they're a little less cumbersome to use when working on prototypes.
