I'm traveling for three months and need somewhere to keep my receipts and important papers that won't take up a lot of space. This file accordion organizer is perfect. It's slim when folded up but expands nicely and each pocket seems to have adequate space. I suspect that it'll be bulging by the time I get home but the quality looks good so I'm pretty sure it can take the abuse. I'll update this review if anything fails, but based on other reviews I don't think that'll happen.

I'm a bit of a 'keep the receipt nut' and I save all mine. I also print out and save any online payments I make. This accordian file handles everything up to 8 X 11 without folding. There are 12 tabs and 13 total pockets - orgainize by month with a 'tax papers' pocket to make things easy or by whatever method works best for you. Comes with 12 blank, precut labels for the tabs and an index window on the front where you can insert a piece of paper making it easy to see what's inside. The file is held shut by an elastic band that fits over a plastic button. The lip of the button is high enough and deep enough to hold securely. The seams appear to be 'electonically welded' - basically heat welded plastic. The seams appear to be uniformly welded without missing spots or places that failed to hold on my example. Good value for the price in my opinion.
