The product wasn't shipped in a box, the wooden container itself was just shipped in a bubble mailer. So it arrived with the wood chipped away where the lid peg goes in (see pictures). It's unfortunate since the swivel top is kinda useless now, but it's still got a magnet and peg so it'll stay in place when closed. The pads themselves are very curly, quite thin (1 layer of fabric), don't lay flat. Not a big deal for me, they still all fit in the holder and it is nice it came with a laundry bag. Have not tried washing them yet, so maybe there will be a future edit.

I wash the pad right after using and hang it (clothespin with a strap) to dry over my towel. I've assigned the bamboo container to kitchen. It makes an excellent container for my coarse salt.

These are so well built. My wife loved it. Good size for more coverage and well-padded hence soft. High quality and comes in great packaging. Highly recommended to anyone. Our (my wife and I) 2 cents below: Pros: - Very good quality makeup remover pads made of bamboo fabric - These are large enough to provide good coverage - Super soft and good enough padding. Very comfortable. This was the best feature my wife liked since she is very particular about it otherwise won't use - These are absorbent enough - Super reasonably priced for a set of 14 pads. 7 pairs for a week is the idea of selling 14 as a set. Good thoughts. - Washable pads and so can be used for long and not just use and throw - Comes with 1 mini bag in the package - The bamboo box is elegant looking and very well made with a small magnet too - Great attention to details and very thoughtful packaging - Vegan and cruelty-free product if that matters to you Cons: - None that I see for this price and the quality

These charcoal bamboo cleansing pads are a new favorite of mine. I've always had to be very careful about what I use on my face because so many other pads and cloths tend to be much too abrasive for me and tend to cause me to breakout. These are extremely soft and gentle. Supposedly, the charcoal helps to filter and clean the skin. I can't swear to the fact that it's doing that, but they do help me to clean my skin better than how I was doing so before. They pull away any dirt, excess oils and any make-up or other cosmetic products with ease. Also, I've found that the pads clean easily. That's just as important for something that will be reused on my face. They seem to dry pretty fast too. The set comes with a nice, well made bamboo wooden storage box to keep your unused pads safe and clean. Those pads come inside the box already stashed in a nice soft fishnet drawstring bag.
