I love this thing. It does get hot!!! But it definitely does the job!

This is like the 4th glue gun i have bought. I moved again and have no idea wher the others i have are. Have had no problem with any of them so i dont expect any with this one. Im using it to repair crashed foam radio control airplains. Its not if your going to crash but when your going to crash. Lol! Also using it to build a crawling trach for my rock crawlers. Building obsticals out of cardboard and wood. Hot glue is great for this!

This is the best glue gun I've had. Temperature control is lovely; no more burning myself on glue that's still hot a minute after application, no more burning the dye in colored glues. The tip with the small hole is really nice, lets me lay down a nice thin line right in an inside edge and into corners. I still need my mini glue gun to get to some places, but the long nozzle on this makes it good for almost everything, and it actually gets to some places the mini can't. Only thing I'm not sure about is the power cord; it doesn't have the little holes that would keep it from sliding out of a socket. My sockets are pretty new so that's no issue, and that's really the only fault I've found after months of use.

This seems to be the best i have ever used. wide heat range for really big jobs or down to intricut fragile projects, I hope it lasts a long time, but I have used it for shelfs using cardboard and 1/2" wood strips the glue came out fast and hot -- and used it to patch a 3d printed flower (made of PLA with a low melt temp) and turned the temp way down worked great. One other like -- because do so many different types of projects it has two different length nozzles and can reach hard to get to spots -- so far so good

The Chanseon 150W adjustable-temperature glue gun comes with: - One each 2mm and 3mm orifice tips, with ball valves to prevent dripping while idle, and a wrench to attach / remove tips. - A tiny screwdriver for adjusting the temperature setting, except the tip is the wrong size, making it completely useless. - 10 long glue sticks, with no information on what type of materials they work with. - A poorly translated instruction sheet that appears to be written for another model of glue gun - It says to wait 5-8 minutes for the gun to heat up, when this gun needs only 3 minutes. It makes no mention of the temperature adjustment or the red LED indicator light on the gun. There is a dim red LED light on the back of the gun. It indicates that the gun is plugged in to power. It does not show the on-off switching of the temperature controller. Power consumption when plugged in cold, set to 140'C, plugged in to 120V: Ramps up to 110W Power consumption when plugged in cold, set to 220'C, plugged in to 120V: Ramps up to 110W Power consumption when plugged in cold, set to 140'C, plugged in to 250V: Bounces around, with peaks as high as 150W. Power consumption when plugged in cold, set to 220'C, plugged in to 250V: Bounces around, with peaks of 200W. The temperature sticker was stuck on off-center, such that the marks do not line up with the dial correctly. The stand is a bit too narrow for the gun, giving the gun a tendency to tip over, unless the cord is carefully positioned. The gun itself, and its temperature adjustment, work well. I am very pleased with its performance at this price point.
