I found the missing drills for the diamond art. Im using these to finish up an art piece that had the wrong colors. Would buy again

I ordered these to take to a family weekend later this year. I got diamond painting kits for the crafty members to enjoy while the others go fishing. I read that sometimes kits are missing beads and/or are short of the glue. So I got extra in case. This set includes 30 colors of beads. They come in long strip of small cellophane packages. You need to cut on the dotted line to separate them. (The lines are perforated but I didnt want to risk the cellophone ripping and spilling tiny beads everywhere so I cut them. It only takes a few seconds.) It will be tricky to keep them corralled once the small packages are opened, so Ill stick in a box of snack or sandwich bags to help with that effort. Since I havent used them yet, I cant speak to how well they work or whether theyll be the right size and whether the colors in this package will blend in okay with the kits I purchased. When I first opened them, I was a little disappointed in the lack of brighter colors, and thought that perhaps it wouldve been better for me to order the 60 color set instead of the 30. However, then I remembered Id purchased them as extras and more muted colors will blend in and look nicer if the kits color palettes dont exactly match the colors in this extra bead set. Im happy with this purchase.

These are just what they say they are. If you want these colors in these quantities, this is a very nice set. I wish one of the greens were more emerald instead of quite so teal, and I didn't need as many brown tones as this set has, but even with the less lovely colors, this set is quite nice.

These are nice resin "5D" drills, as you can especially see in the second picture, which was taken under a magnifying glass. The set comes with DMC colors 152, 208, 310, 444, 517, 550, 597, 604, 606, 640, 704, 722, 741, 762, 814, 823, 921, 927, 939, 954, 958, 964, 995, 3021, 3042, 3746, 3777, 3855, 3862, and 3865. Most impressively, I saw no "trash" drills at all, even in the 310 (black) packet, which is unusual for that color. (However, I was only skimming over the drills in their sealed packets, so I may have missed a few possibly.) The only "flaw" I found was the occasional "hitchhiker" drill (as in a drill of a different color from the rest in that packet, usually carried over into a packet from the drills in the adjacent color packet). Since most drills sell separately for about $0.50-$0.65 for a packet of 200 (and those are acrylic, not resin, drills), these are a good deal, especially if you're likely to use most of them for doing, say, some freehand diamond art. They're also good to have on hand in case a resin-drill diamond painting kit is short on drills or you have a catastrophic drill spill, especially if most of your kits use acrylic drills, so you haven't amassed a good amount of leftover resin drills.

I wanted diamonds outside of a project or painting that I am working on- to decorate scrapbooks and stickers that I get. While I will have to come up with a way to get a slight layer of glue for the diamonds to stick- I figure that is no real issue. Even if I just use the diamond art glue I have for the overlay of diamond art paintings or projects- I needed diamonds to begin testing how to do this. So I ordered these 30 different colored diamonds. The thirty different colors came as almost all diamonds do- in one line of thirty packs, each that you rip open to take the diamonds out. While it would have been nice if they came in resealable bags, this is the norm for diamond art- and I am used to resealing diamonds, usually in ziplock bags.
