These are fun, colorful, kind of unusual pencils. They write just fine and sharpen just as expected. I think they are a fun - and useful - addition to little gift bags for kids.

Got these as prizes for the classroom and the kids loved them. They really enjoy seeing the colors after sharpening. Quality is good, like a standard pencil. Erase works fine.

How colorful and fun are these pencils?! They are super fun to sharpen because the colors are striped and when you sharpen the tip, the tip of the pencil then shows the rings of multiple colors. These are standard pencils, just cuter. The reason for the 4 stars, not 5, is that the eraser wears down quicker than the #2 pencils we always used when I was in school with the pink eraser. The eraser on these pencils is also multi-colored, so that is cool, but it does wear down quickly. I caution folks when sharpening--it gets VERY sharp, and I accidentally scratched myself with the pencil tip after sharpening and it cut my skin and left a scratch ! Operator error--not the pencil's fault, but just something to note for any other clumsy people.

These pencils are simply the cutest ever and my kids love them. They write well, they have good (and also cute) erasers, and they sharpen smoothly and without any splintering of the (also very cute) wood. The pencils managed to wear a hole in the plastic sleeve they came in, so by the time they got to us one of the pencils had managed to escape. Not a huge deal for us because we didn't need an exact amount of the pencils, and it was just one pencil lost, but it could very easily have been more pencils lost if given the right circumstances during shipment.

Cute, functional and a great eraser. Sounds silly, but an eraser is important. The lead is generous and they sharpen great. I love the rainbow shavings.
