This set is perfect for any diamond painting enthusiast. I wanted this because of the thicker (more comfortable to hold) pen. It's perfect and feels so much better in my hand than the thin pen diamond paintings come with. This has everything you need to excel at and enjoy diamond painting. The tweezers are very helpful. The pen comes with multiple size attachments. And the little macaron wax holder is SO cute. All that said, the real star of this set is the sticky mat. I got this for the pen, but this little sticky mat blue me away. I cannot tell you how many times I've accidently jostled what I'm working on and sent my pan of diamonds flying. This sticky mat really keeps your pan secure and it makes such a huge difference as you work. I'm so impressed by it. This is a great set for anyone who does diamond paintings and would make a great gift. I'm super happy I got it.

Im new to the whole diamond painting thing. I needed some sort of crafty thing I could do at night while watching tv that required as little brain power as possible and also didnt require a million tools that would need to be gathered and cleaned up when I was done, so this was perfect for me. Ive only done a couple smaller projects and they were a lot of fun, but the tools that came with those kits definitely left room for improvement. This set was a great step up, with a pen tool thats much more comfortable to grip, lots of multi-gem placement tips (which I havent used yet), some little trays that have been really helpful so I dont make a mess with the tiny little gem things, and a bunch of other great little helper tools. There may be better tools out there for professional diamond painters, I dont know, but Im quite happy with these right now. Theyre better than what comes with the kits and for a brainless evening activity this hits the right price point.
