These alarms are priced right and they work quite well. The only problem I've had with them is that that are not very heat resistant. So, if they are in the sunshine at all for any length of time, they get brittle and break. Usually about 6-8 months. Other than that, I would recommend them.

I got these so I would know when someone drove into my driveway or came to my porch as I don't have many windows or ways to see out without opening my door and stepping outside. Every time a vehicle drives into my driveway, it alerts me with a nice tone: there are many to choose from, and if someone comes up to my porch steps it also alerts me so I can meet them at the door without them having to be wary of my dogs that love to jump on people. I recommend them.

I've been using these for some time now, and they work well. Their life expectancy isn't great though, and they don't come with a plug in chod. The first one I ordered had the cord, so I just use that with the replacements.

I bought this to keep at my small business for our back door. My employees come in the through the back way, so I keep it open for them. However, if I am up front with customers, i wouldnt know if anyone else came in that way. This bell works great for letting me know if there is any unnecessary activity happening. I just bought another set for my other home. These are great and so so easy to install. I installed 1 motion detector on the ceiling outside my front door and I placed the other motion detector just inside my garage. You can mount them with a screw or just set them on a flat surface. The receiver part is plugged into a wall-outlet in my family room. Now, I know when a package/mail is delivered or if someone approaches my front door or comes inside my garage. I would say the motion detectors are weather-resistant but not completely weather proof. I've used mine covered outside for many years with no problems. The volume can be adjusted in many increments to a very loud chime all the way down to a softer chime. There are multiple choices for the type of tone/sound you want to hear. Some are musical tunes. I like the typical ding-dong sound and that's what I use. You would have no problem hearing the receiver anywhere in the house (even on the 2nd floor) if you choose to keep the volume at a higher setting. The motion sensors are battery operated and I get around 6-8 months with regular daily detections. (Tip-use a marker or label and write the date on the batteries when you install them). I have told many people about this set-up. Several have ordered it for themselves and all of them have told me how much they love this.
