I think its great to eat a meal with but I just use it for a little pudding or something small(like prepackaged jello size) in a car if I want to eat something I buy on a whim from a bakery and it is way big for that! My kids think theyre big too so maybe its good for a meal but not for a dessert. At least for us
I now have 8 of these. Some have a different brand marked on them. I keep these in my camping and day hike bags, as well as use for lunch every day at the office. I bought more to make sure I have enough to cover a work week of lunches since I only run the dishwasher 1 or 2 times a week. Ive had no issues with them tarnishing or getting damaged with after several years of daily use and both machine and hand washing.
If youre looking for a lightweight spoon/fork combo this is a great option. I have recently bought a few different brands to try and these work just as good as the competitors. I do a lot of ultra light backpacking/camping and oz equal pounds. I also like to throw these into my desk drawer at work so I dont have to use plastic ones that always break. I have used these around the house and on the campsite. The fact that the are not made of plastic means they I have no problems when deep frying good at the campground. Another feature I like is that the manufacturer did cram 80 million things to try to be "do all" device.
