Just what i was needing
Very bright and easy to install.
I have a 7 month old Aussie who LOVES to chew thru end of her leashes. Started doing it at 3 months old. In a matter of 2 months I went thru THREE retractable leashes. Which aren't cheap lol ! I tried duct taping the end when she'd get thru a little bit of it. Tried knotting the end when shed get some of it. I tried using a harness so leash wouldn't be near her mouth. Nothing worked. She always managed to get it in mouth. My leash now, I bought because it had a twelve inch metal chain at the end of the fabric part. Ordered online so didn't know how heavy it was. Turned out, it was too heavy. Just wasn't a fun time. Would drag to ground any time she was close. Soooo after searching for an alternative for few days I FOUND THESE. Ordered immediately not expecting them to last honestly. Bought from THIS seller because U get two. So figured if she chews thru 1, I still have another 1. So we can get a while out of these LoL. I took the metal chain off and replaced it with this "cable." If you have ever had an Aussie, Heeler, Border Collie, ect... you KNOW as puppies they have a ton of energy. EVERYTHING is THE most exciting thing they have EVER done in their entire lives. When I take Nova out anywhere ( she comes everywhere, even to work w me.) But CANNOT chew thru it. She tries walking ME the first 2 mins. WHILE chewing on the end of this cable. Like "come on, lets go, lets goooo. Yr so slow !" Then zooms around in circles like a crazy freak for a minute....WITH the end of this cable in her mouth. I usually let her do her wierdo thing for 1-2 mins. Let her get it out of her system...then yell "Nova ! Cut the drama & slow yr freaking roll." ALL THOSE FEW MINUTES at the beginning of walks ADD UP lol. It's been weeks upon weeks of her biting at this thing and NOTHING has happened. Its still like new ! Granted she's only 35 pounds at this point.. but this thing is great. The retractable leash still functions like it should. Goes right to the metal clasp on end of cable amd stops. Length is perfect. Dog can't reach the fabric part of leash anymore at all. And seems very durable. It is made out of the exact same material as those leads ppl put outside with a metal stake in ground. *Added some photos so u can see the product on leash
I need an almost too short lead for the dog to stay in the car. A regular length leash allows the dog to jump back out after carrying her on the seat. The cable limits my dog to go up to the door and not back outside.
We got this because our Huskey/Lab mix would chew through the leashes. We use it often when we tie him up while we play volleyball and he hasn't been able to chew through it. Works great for us.
