Soft enough for dry exfoliation, strong enough to use in the shower.

I enjoy both brushes. I use the all-bristled one when I want to exfoliate my skin when the brush is dry. The one with rubbery protrusions among the bristles is used when I want to scrub my elbows, knees, toes, and feet in the shower. You may need to put a little more body wash on the brushes than you would with a shower poof, but they both lather well. I especially enjoy scrubbing my back wet or dry with the respective brushes. There is an elastic band on each brush to allow for a firm grip. There is no handle, nor would they fit on a handle. I found nothing to complain about. The bristles are firmly inserted into the wooden bases and, so far, none have come loose. I'm confident that I'll still be using them more than 6 months from now.

Dry Brushing is so good for you

I love dry brushing although I admit I should do better to make it a routine. There are so many benefits to dry brushing. I also have the kind that has an extension to hit those are to reach places. These do not include an extension and are just for hand reach only. They are nice quality and I like the one that has the rubber nibs to it. It gives a little extra to push the skin. I think these would make great gifts for anyone.

Favorable Opinion

I love a dry brush with a strap to slip onto your hand. Its the most effective type I have used, and it just makes the whole process easier. My reason for trying dry brushing is trying to improve my health, and while I have no way of knowing if I did, I certainly enjoyed the feeling of using these brushes over my arms and legs. And while they arent the perfect mix of soft/firm, they hold up well in my estimation when I consider the favorable price. I recommend giving these a chance.

I've heard about the benefits of dry brushing but these brushes are too rough for my skin. I even tried to use them in the shower and still no good. My skin was red and irritated after using.

Excellent price

I love, love, love dry brushing, so I grabbed this 2 pack from Bealihelp to try. The brushes are lightweight. I do like the strap that goes across the back of my hand, but I wish it was a little bit tighter, and the placement puts the brush in an odd spot on my palm. I want to have the strap across the palm of my hand as opposed to my knuckles, and that causes the brush to sit too low on my hand, so I have to leave the strap loose up by my knuckles which causes me to twist the brush sideways in my palm. I can still use it. It just sits a little weird. I was afraid that the bristles might be too soft, but I was completely wrong. They did a great job of exfoliating. I could see my dead skin flying everywhere. It was a little disgusting actually. I did notice bristle loss and breakage so be prepared. The strap and brush head seem to be attached to the wooden base very well. The wooden base is smooth to the touch and comfortable to grip, but I do wish it was a bit wider. Overall, this seems like a decent set, especially at this price point.
