I have found that most white erase boards do not erase well, no matter what you use. You are just going to have to deal with that - find your favorite marker and your best way of erasing that marker and /shrug go with it. That said, I don't like the setup on this one as much as I do my other but it works. However, their monthly calendar offers more space to write what I need to per square than the other. The erasers *do* stick, provided the magnet inside is strong enough and what you are trying to attach it too is made up of mostly metal. If the eraser doesn't work, try it on another surface, make sure to check both sides of it. If it sticks to something else, you might consider leaving the eraser there or getting something to hold onto it where you have the boards. If it doesn't, well, then you need to decide if that bothers you are not and resolve accordingly :) The pens are a real issue. The magnet provided on the lid near the eraser is just a really small dot and this can be an issue I'm finding. For whatever reason, there must be some dead spots on my fridge because some times they stick and some times they don't, or they slowly move down to the bottom before slipping off entirely. Or, they don't "catch" or get bumped and fall off. The little... chess piece magnets... provided to hold things stick well but, depending on what you are needed to stick, they might not be strong enough. Overall I would recommend.

If you need a Kitchen Command Center for all the notes and chores when everyone is running around, this kit really is excellent. Likes: * Both a calendar view and a weekly detail list. This is by far the best * Good quality mat, cleans up well, and good magnet. Has not fallen off the fridge in two weeks yet * Gives you the markers, erasers, and magnet pins all in one kit with several colors. This is really helpful! * Markers are fine tipped vs bold tipped which makes it easier to fit text into the spaces. Dislikes: * Erasers are a bit small and very light weight with not very strong magnets and can easily fall off if nudged. * The magnets on the markers are also quite small and not the strongest, but none have fallen off yet. Overall, this has been one of the better economical solutions for fridge organization.

I wish I would of gotten this sooner. Yes the calendar is important. However the additional page with the blank lists is what has been missing from my life. It keeps us (5) organized. Currently being used for grocery list, dinner menu for the week work schedule and more. I can change it to fit my weekly needs. Cleans easily. Stationary store quality material. Awesome value for the money. Looks great. Comes with markers and erasers. And cute little magnets.

We are a very busy family of 5 and I was struggling with one location to keep everyone communicating about events and obligations and chores. This was the perfect item to achieve the family command center as we call it. First the item came fast and adhered super strong to the fridge and lays flat for easy writing. Two- plenty of colors!! Everyone has an assigned color and section for chores to check off as completed. Third there is enough space to have a grocery list and the parents to have chore lists too!! Fourth the calendar can be updated every month so long paper calenders! This is a game Changer for my house and should have done this years ago. This is excellent for teaching teens to plan weeks and games, balance chores and keep a running list of items needed for home, house or anything!!

I bought this primarily for the magnetic calendar, but instead they sent me two of the to-do list boards. Otherwise it's well-made, sticks to the fridge, and comes with all the accessories it lists. Will be returning though.
