I have plantar fasciitis and these inserts has made a difference for me.. I am able to start wearing my sandals that have hard soles again.

Pig skin heel inserts I would rate these a 3 out of 5. I wished that the cushion was a little thicker. While it provided some support and delayed the plantar fasciitis pain it didnt alleviate the pain for a long period of time. I also wish they were reusable.

Soft to my foot but no support, very thin cushioning.

Having foot issues and foot surgeries , I may be more critical than other reviewers. The pigskin inserts are very soft, and feel great inside my shoes. But there is really no support of any type, and barely any type of cushioning. Or maybe just not enough for my feet. They are working in my sandals, but these shoes already have good support and a decent about of cushioning. I have an issue on the ball of one foot due to a metatarsal fusion and I can cut one insert in half to use for that area. Working out so much better for that area of my foot.

These are just what I needed to make walking more comfortable. I have a pair of leather boat shoes that have great arch support and some cushioning but they are pretty old and the cushioning is not as good as it used to be, so these inserts helped make them comfortable again. They are also wonderful for shoes that have no arch support. I love the fact that they are not synthetic material, so you wouldn't sweat in your shoes. They are easy to apply, the adhesive seems very strong and they stay in place. They are also true to size. I got the small ones and I am size 5 1/2.

I suffer from bad heel spurs, and I use extra insoles in any shoes that are hard inside without cushioningmostly dress shoes. These are NICE! They are not as thick as many, but also do not adversely change the way the shoes I put them in fitin this case a pair of high heeled pumps. Ive had problems getting blisters on the bottoms of my feet from where a partial insole ended, resulting in a lump that gave me terrible blisters. This insole has a much smoother transition to the edge than some, so no problems there. Ive also had insoles with a plastic feel that my feet slid around oncertainly not a problem with the pigskin! These may not be as thick and cushiony as some insoles, but do add enough cushioning to make shoes significantly more comfortable. If you really need thick cushioning, these wont work for you. If you can exchange some cushioning so you arent altering how you shoe fits, you will love these. Its a help, not an orthotic.
