With older cars that don't have USB port for a thumb drive, this unit is perfect. I like how easy and simple it is use. You can't go wrong buying one of these based on the cost.

Shipped very quickly. Thank you! The sound quality is pristine, provided you can find a static-free station in your area. I don't find the bass boost function useful for every song, but in cases where it does improve the song, you can simply push the button to use it. Nice! The Bluetooth connectivity is lightning fast. I connected to it right away. Because my car has two 12V ports (yes, that's not normal), I was able to set it up on the one on the left, then wanted to move it to the right one and as soon as I did, my phone was immediately connected again with no effort and in a mere split second. That's a far cry from what I'm used to. The mics work well enough. I tested this with someone else and they said it sounded like I was in a box, but it was clear. They said my phone's hands-free calling sounded better, but both were clear. Also, because my car has an Aux port (think of it like a headphone jack), I can connect this to the Aux port for static free play, while my phone is connected to this device via bluetooth. Yay! The device is feature-rich. Quick Charge (QC) 3.0, a supposed 40+W charging capability and USB-C all make for a nice set of options not usually all found on one device. I haven't tested the charging capability yet, so I'll have to update my review later. As far as the lighting, it's simply just rainbow. If that's not your thing, you can turn it off. The lit LED display easily shows the station it's tuned to, car battery charge (when you plug it in or the car turns on) and the volume. The knob works for volume adjustment, calls and play/pause. There is a button rocker on the right side that allows you to do previous/next song. The bass boost is a nice thing to have at your fingertips when you want it. It says you can even put songs on a thumb drive and plug it into it and play your songs that way. The built-in mics can work for hands-free calls. For the price, I highly recommend this bluetooth adapter. A few things I would have preferred are: 1) LED light colors other than just rainbow 2) Perhaps less bulky 3) A fast-forward/rewind function (perhaps a push-twist or shift the knob left/right?)

Works very well. The audio quality is flawless and it's very easy to use. It also supports 25w Super Fast Charge on my samsung phone with the USB c port, which I was not expecting but is a welcome surprise. If you're getting a lot of weird whining noises that change pitch with engine rpm, the device is not broken but there is electrical interference with the 12v system. This occurs in some cars, and unfortunately devices like these can pick up that interference and all you'll hear is that annoying whine. To fix this, you just need to power this device with something that's not connected to the car, like one of those power banks with 12v outlets, or if you're more electronically inclined you can use two 9 volt batteries in series, and 2 alligator clips to connect them. This device can handle up to 24v so it works perfectly. Just don't try to charge your phone when it's connected to the 9v batteries, they can't provide enough juice for that and will cause the device to shut down. But if you do power this adapter with batteries like that, it will eliminate any interference noise generated by your vehicle and the audio quality will be amazing.
