My sandals were separating from their soles and were unusable. Using this glue was a last ditch effort to save them. One of the uppers completely separated from the lower, while the other just had the heel area and some straps separating out. Pic 1 is right shoe before, Pic 2 is left shoe before; Pic 3 is left shoe after, Pic 4 is right shoe after. The glue did reattach the wayward straps, but expecting the glue to keep the top on the bottom was just too much. I wore them in my yard and didnt even get around my house before the two halves started separating again. I think this is a good option for small repairs but cant tackle putting shoes back together when they completely fall apart. Although I still cant wear them, the wayward straps are still in place!

This ceramic glue works well for smaller repairs. It goes on and dries clear, and holds well if you let it cure according to the instructions, for at least 24 hours. I would advise holding the pieces together for at least a minute for a strong enough set to keep everything in place. There are four tips included to apply the glue in very small amounts along fine breaks and in small crevices. I am not sure how well they would work to reuse, as I have not used one of these more than once. For larger pieces that need repairs, I would not necessarily rely on this glue, although I have not attempted any large repairs. If the larger piece is decorative and not functional, and placed in a low-traffic area where it won't be touched, I expect it could work. I feel confident using this on small to medium pieces and repair jobs. For the current price, $6.29, it's a great value.

Because cyanoacrylate glue can only bond with a surface when there is moisture present specifically hydroxide ions and your hands and skin are covered in nice, wet, love to stick to it, sweaty, hydroxide ions (whatever those are). In Fact, without the moisture, this glue just doesn't bond, so believe it or not, you should Dampen a cloth and get the two pieces of whatever you intend to bond damp, Then glue them. Not kidding, go research it. Things It Doesn't Stick to Well or Do Well Some materials, like heat-resistant plastics, tend to repel moisture so don't stick as well. You've tried like all of us and it didn't work, so Instead, use an epoxy resin to bind these materials. Also, These glues do not have good Shearing strength (in fact it's down right shameful). Which is another thing I'm sure you've tried and didn't work. So find something else if you need side to side Shearing strength. And Lastly (probably not) Acetone (polish remover) is what will Un-Stick those bonds and get your fingers clean. If you are an avid gluer, buy a big gallon container from big box store. It's cheap and I've had my can forever. Who May Use/Like It Those needing, non shearing, non heat resistant plastic, moisture laden gluing done with serious precision using those nozzles. That Tip Carefully and I mean CAREFULLY, blow air through the nozzle when you are done to clear all the glue and you can reuse them for quite awhile. CAREFULLY. Maybe you should use air in a can or something. Me Final Thoughts It works, LOVE the nozzles, and don't forget to sneeze on your work to add moisture beforehand.
