Useful cable

Using this to connect an external SSD drive to a port on the back of a computer. The 90 degree angle of the male connector keeps the cable tight to the computer to keep the installation a little cleaner. Performance of the drive works fine and I haven't noticed any difference in speed from the OEM cable that came with the drive. It's a little pricey for an extension cable but the quality is there.

Perfect Solution to My Dilemma

I needed a way to easily add a USB hub to my desktop, and the 90-degree USB C connection on this extension cable was the perfect solution. It allows me to add a decent USB hub, and locate it in a spot where its most useful to me. Top quality cord and connectors.

Perfect for getting close to wall

I use my iPad alot at work and it is mostly on the right side. Well my station is really close to a wall and as you know regular cables stick straight out. So, I needed someway of not hitting the wall so much and this was the answer. I am now able to use my tablet without a worry of damaging the port I am plugged into. The length is perfect since I use a docking station with a type-c interface already. The braided cable has a nice semi stiff feel to it, making it seem like it last a long time. The connection tips do not bend easy, So I am sure it will help with not "jacking up" my ports or power supply. The connector caps are rugged plastic with good feel to them, letting me assume they too will take on the riggers of the plug and unplug grind. So I will be getting some more (different lengths and connection types) for all my devices soon.

I needed an extension cable because I have a hub that I wanted to have a way from my laptop so I bought this cable and it works well for doing just that. I would recommend it. I also like that it is right angled going into my laptop.

Heavy Duty Super Speed with right-angle connector

Bottom line - this is heavy duty, appears to be very well made, USB-C superspeed extension cable - male to female. If you have a use case for this type of cable, this is a great choice. Use case - as an extension since this is female to male with the male at a right-angle, and supporting up to 20gbps data transfer, and up to 240 watts of power delivery! (I'm using it to connect to my smartphone at right angle so I can keep it on a stand at my desk, and plug in the 3 different things I regularly use with the phone as needed at the extension end.) One caveat: the right-angle end doesn't connect flat (I have tried a right-angle that does, but the ribbon cable end isn't durable), and depending upon the case or clearance, the cable may not work with device intended. But, this cable does work with my phone and case - I've had one that didn't, and the others I have only handle USB-2 speeds max 480Mbps.... So, this is best I've found to date. I like to use a right-angle USB type C for my smartphone while at my desk - it lets me keep the phone on a stand with the cable plugged in and much safer for the longevity of the phone's female connector.
