Like many women, my legs and my waist are two different pant sizes. Typically my legs are a size bigger than my waist, so i end up with pants that i end up tugging up through out the day. Im not the fan of using belts since i find them very uncomfortable and digging into my tummy or the sizing doesnt really line up (i have to poke my own holes into the belt). These are a great alternative to having to get your pants tailored. Like the stock photo, you just pin these to your pants and then hook then together to tighten your pants. At first i pinned these in the middle back of my jeans, where tou typically get that gap. This was uncomfortable as you end up rubbing against the pins so i repinned to the side. These stayed on all day. The pins did not come loose or become undone. I did have to tug up but not nearly as much. For a more secure fit i think you could pin a pair on both sides to truly prevent sagging. Luckily this set gives you 2 pairs per color and with the variety of finishes, you are sure to find something that fits. I has rearranged these multiple times and did not notice any lasting holes in my jeans. The pins are pretty big, so they are better suited for thicker materials that can withstand poking like denim, khaki and not polyster, linen, silk etc. If you pin these too tight, the pin backs might end up poking into you. I also recommend to hook the pins before putting on your pants as it can be difficult to pull together and hook pants you are wearing. Although i havent tried it, i would recommend removing them from clothes before washing. I highly recommend these especially if you dont want tailor your pants to allow size changes or if you just cant find the right fit.

This is a set of 22 pieces of pant waist tighteners, 6 lovely safety pins with various colors of beads: black, and red beads, and faux white pearls and green beads, with rhinestone spacer beads. Also, 8 sets of 2 four leaf clovers (separate pins-one the hook and the other the latch) to form one tightener that latches together, in colors of: gold, silver, black, and bronze. In my batch all of the clover stems were crooked and it was really hard to get the button pin-backs off. Once I did get them off I straightened the stems. After that the backs were able to be removed and put back on with minimum trouble. The back pins do secure tightly with a nice grip to keep the tightener pinned. I still recommend these as these are really nice pins. These are finished products so any crafting will be using these in another kind of craft or sewing as opposed to creating something else with them.
