These are nice in thickness but when painting with water color they dry bent. Would be good for beginners practicing but not for something meant to keep.

These handmade sheets of 300 GSM watercolor paper are very nice. Theyre small (4x6 inches) but theyre very nice sheets. The texture is rough rather than smooth which creates texture and interest to the art created on this type of sheet. A sheet of this would be perfect for painting a small picture, mounting it on a 6x8 piece of paper or cardstock, etc., framing it, and giving as a gift. In a beach house we visited, I saw a framed piece exactly this size that had an original watercolor of an ocean sunset done like this and it was beautiful. Im primarily a beginner painter and I prefer to sketch and paint on a small scale. I ordered these sheets because, up to this point, I have primarily sketched and painted in journals and sketchbooks, and I would like to take a step out of my comfort zone and commit myself to painting something to frame. This paper is very nice and I think itll work well for my purpose. Recommended.

Good paper for small pieces

I got this paper to share with my mom who paints watercolors mostly in this size, and hand rips the edges to give it this deckled effect. We both love this paper, it feels really nice and sturdy, the edges are really nice, the texture looks good, and it feels high quality. I am not an expert in watercolor paper and still new to the medium so don't take my word for its quality. The paper buckles a bit with heavy water, but I haven't used any kind of paper that doesn't have any buckling with water. The value is good, you get 25 sheets for $9 which is a good deal
