I was hoping I could cram some polka dot plants into these holders, but the little openings are big enough for single stem cuttings. Great for pothos. They are simple and hang on the side of the tank just fine. My tank is rimless so theres less edge width for it to fit onto, but it doesnt matter if it hangs at an angle. I do wish they were clear, though. I dont have a black background so the color sticks out a bit, but that will be covered when the cuttings start to grow and fill out.

There are 2 separates 5-hole propagation devices in the set I purchased to hang on the side of my 125gallon freshwater aquarium and they both fit absolutely perfect! I am so happy with the quality as well as the fit of these two water propagation pieces, I am going to order more so I can have the whole back wall lined with live plants propagating. I have also noticed that if the root system gets too big to slide back through the holes used for the cutting, I can slide up and remove the whole side panel of the propagation station to release the new plant without damaging the roots, so I can start again. Overall, I am so happy with this purchase I have nothing negative to say.
