Pages missing in one of books

Loved the books. Disappointed that one book didn't have the specified number of pages. Didn't have time for replacement since it was intended for a gift basket

Great for alcohol markers and gouache!

These tiny sketchbooks are so darling and great for miniature artwork. I tested these with both alcohol markers and gouache with great results. With the gouache, the paper was able to handle a lot of water without warping too much, and the paper is a nice smooth surface with just the smallest amount of texture. The description didnt say, but if I had to guess I would say its hot press in case that matters to you :) If youre using alcohol markers, expect the normal amount of bleed to the back of the paper that you would get with most thick papers like bristol board. You definitely wont be able to draw on the back of a used page with transparent media withohut being creative, but its about what comes with the territory. I didnt have any problems with it bleeding onto the following page, however. Over all, I was pretty happy with the quality of the paper! It can handle you going over the same area a lot with wet media (gouache, alcohol markers, fineliners) without the paper getting eaten up. The quality of the paper is about the same as Bristol board. The only downsides for me is that there is no way to remove the drawings from the sketchbook (the book is perfect bound with saddle stitching) and you cant really use the first page of the actual watercolor paper because there is a weird thin cover page at the front of the book that is glued to the first page about half an inch from the spine which was a little odd. You can still use the page, but half an inch less of working space in such a small sketchbook is pretty significant. The covers and designs are crazy cute though, so Im willing to forgive it. :)

Great paper, very TINY

These books feel really high quality - the cloth on the hardbound covers feels great and they have fun designs on them. And the paper was great to paint on! These books are REALLY SMALL, even smaller than I was expecting, and I wasn't sure about working in such a small space, but it didn't feel small while I was working on it. The paper can take layers and shows the colors well. Recommended!

These sketchbooks are adorable! However, upon receiving them, I realized they're smaller than I had imagined. Now, I'm not sure what I can use them for. Nevertheless, I still find them quite charming.
