I'm on the fence with this toothpaste. It has a very clean minty feel. It foams a lot and provides a "polished" feel after brushing. The main ingredients are calcium carbonate, hydrated silica and hydroxypropyl. These ingredients produce the foaming action and act as a mild abrasive -- but they bleaching or whiten teeth. This toothpaste was effective in brushing away today's coffee and blueberry stains but it provide any whitening, brightening results. I suspect that's because there is no peroxide in this toothpaste which, for me, is the only ingredient that provides true whitening. This does contain sodium lauryl sulfate which causes canker sores for my husband so he won't be using this toothpaste. Also, there is no flouride or potassium nitrate in this toothpaste which I require to alleviate tooth sensitivity. This is a small tube of toothpaste -- 100 grams which equals about 3.5 ounces. Compared to American-made toothpaste, this tube contains about .5 ounces less. Most American tubes are 4 ounces. This product is made in China.

This is a two-pack of toothpaste tubes with 100g in each tube. The contents are listed as: calcium carbonate, water, sorbitol, hydrated silica, hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, sodium lauryl sulfate, edible essence (maybe this is mint essence??), menthol (extra minty flavor), sodium benzoate, sodium bicarbonate (they note that this is a trace component, not a major ingredient, even though it is advertised as a baking soda toothpaste) and sodium saccharin (again, trace component). So in general, I would say this is not really a baking soda toothpaste, but a limestone/chalk and silica/sand toothpaste. That said, it definitely has polishing power and leaves your mouth feeling quite clean. It doesn't take much of this paste to do a good job brushing your teeth, so I recommend using less than you typically would use for regular toothpastes, and seeing if that works for you before increasing the application as needed. This toothpaste is made in China--and the company provides its full address, inspection information and certification details on the box. The tubes of toothpaste came with correctly adhered foil tamper-evident safety seals under their caps, and individually packed in their product boxes. I like that the flavor is strongly minty but not strongly sweet, although it does have an alkaline sweetness to it. It's not a sugary toothpaste and I feel comfortable using it during fasting, especially since it takes smaller quantities for the same amount of polishing power. I don't think there are any actual bleaching agents or chemical whitening ingredients in this paste, so the whitening effects should just be from polishing. Probably not a good choice for people with very sensitive teeth, or badly eroded teeth, since this is a silica-type polishing paste, but great for people with healthy teeth who want a deep clean.

A few points: * For a Whitening toothpaste, I am sticking with a known-name brand that is written up in many reviews as a top whitening OTC toothpaste. * The ingredients are NOT listed on the ad site. * The seller (when clicking on the seller link), seems to be a distributor of the product, and not having a core competence in toothpaste. * Not sure if this toothpaste is related to SP-6 which has similar packaging in color, but I did not like the screw off cap of the SP-8. I prefer a flip off cap rather than unscrew the entire cap. Mostly because it is an un-known, none-rated brand, and for the price per tube, I can buy in the store a known whitening toothpaste. The mint flavor was strong, but bearable. I think the mint is strong to cover up the other ingredients in the product.

Is toothpaste advertises itself as a baking soda whitening toothpaste. If there is baking soda in it, it's very well hidden as there is absolutely no baking soda flavor or grit to this toothpaste. It also advertises itself as minty. The mint flavor was not very intense. It was okay, but it certainly wasn't the most fresh mint flavor I've experienced. My teeth do feel clean and there was a slight mint after flavor. That said, I'm not sure I would get this again over other bigger brands.

After trying several of these numbered toothpastes, so far, I have to say that I like this one the best. Cleans really well and gradually and safely whitens teeth. After cleaning, my teeth sparkle and feel nice and smooth. The whitening isn't something you'll notice immediately, but I did notice some brightening right away. I really love the bolder mint flavor, though I personally would prefer it to be even stronger. That's what really freshens the breath and holds out for a good while. According to the list of ingredients on the box panel, it does not contain fluoride. To me, that's a big selling point as I avoid fluoride. They should use that as a selling point on the box and this product page. The only thing that I don't like is the smaller tube. It's a good size for travelling, but won't last all that long at home. Hopefully, they will continue with the larger size and price accordingly.
