Almost caused a fire.

Was excited about this product to test landscape lighting before committing to a design. Installed batteries and but back in bag and into a box to use later in the evening. I was installing batteries on the next one and I noticed smoke and a small fire starting in the box. Hoping it was a one off malfunction but wouldnt be installing batteries before use anymore.

Excellent quality, nice price point

I bought these for testing polarity on audio speakers, specifically tweeters. It has made the job infinitely easier, especially when the speaker is in a crowded corner or door in a car. The alligator clips are on a 9-volt battery connector that snaps really tightly onto the 2xAA battery holder. The alligator springs are strong. Nicer components than I expected for the price.

Poor quality

Both stopped working within 2 weeks. Poor quality. You get what you pay for. I didnt attempt to replace due to that fact.

Does the job!

They work great! I didn't need the special 9v-like plug they have on it, but it didn't get in my way either. The alligator clips worked well. I needed to power a Gameboy motherboard out of its shell to diagnose an issue. These worked perfectly. My Gameboy finally has working audio again. Overall, cheap and effective and would buy again.

Temporary power supply.

Temporary power supply for testing bulbs, speakers and other odd things that people bring into my barn to have me check out. Most of it is throw away Chinese junk. I still try to repair the stuff anyway.
