This is a no frills headset with a 3.5 mm jack, a single speaker and microphone boom, Like something youd get in school or at work for free. It almost worked as expected, until I discovered that it had a call button and volume control. The volume control, a small wheel control on a little unit in-line of the headphone cord, worked, but was difficult to tell if it was turned all the way up or all the way down, which can mislead you to think the headset is not working, so I taped over it to prevent accidental adjustment. The call button (pick up or hang up the call) did not work with Zoom, not sure if it would work with any other platform, seemed like a dummy feature. It fit comfortably, not too tight. Earpiece was also comfy.

I use this mainly on the phone and as a mic for voice dictation on Android devices. It works wonderfully. This is a very lightweight device and the earphone is small, so it's not burden to wear for a long time. The wire is heavy, so I'm not worried about it shorting out on me anytime soon. There's a volume knob and hangup button on the cord; the hangup button seems to work fine with my phone. There's also a clip on the cord so you can attach it to your top and keep any slack wire out of your way. I'm satisfied with this in every regard. It's simple and reliable and that's all I wanted. The sound is excellent on this and the microphone is very clear. I rarely have voice dictation errors with this headset. People I speak with on the phone haven't complained about clarity at all, even in a noisy room. The boom mic can be situated for right- or left-side usage. The headband is wire with a pad on the non-earphone side. I barely notice this when I have it on. This isn't a fancy headset; it's barebones and very functional. I like that about it. I also like that they did put a heavy-duty cord on it, as weak cords have been the fatal flaw with a lot of headsets I've gotten. This works very well with PC, as well. It doesn't come with a USB adapter, so you'll have to get one of those or use the 3.5mm output on your PC.

I got this to use at work because I hate the headset my office provides. I did have to buy an adapter to be able to use it with my work computer (it required a USB plug), but that was just a few bucks. I like that it's just one ear, so while I'm in a zoom meeting, I can still hear if someone's knocking at my door or something. It was a simple plug and play--no need to download anything. Folks on my call didn't have any trouble hearing me, and the volume was fine as far as listening. Definitely an improvement over the standard office handout.
