Fell off during use

I am always putting my AirPods on at work when I work on independent projects. Well today was the first time using these and before I could even start my playlist, the right pad popped right off and lodged itself in my ear deep enough I couldnt get it out. Of all the things I do at work, trying not to squirm while my coworker sticks a pair of precision tweezers in my ear to save me a visit to urgent care was not on the list. Spend the extra few and buy apples replacement pads.

The only problem I have noticed is that the buds make my ears itchy after around 15 minutes but they fit and theyre easy to apply and the cleaning set is really useful

I was confused but I figured it out!

I thought I had purchased the wrong product at first. My AirPods are A2084. The white rubbery bit on one of my AirPods (which were hand-me-downs) ripped and fell off. I thought this was the wrong product because they would now fit onto the tip of the AirPod, however I found a Reddit feed that explained that I had not taken off the whole of the old tip. If the white rubber part falls off there is still a remnant of the old tip that looks like a little white speaker and is hard. You have to remove that hard piece before putting on new tips. It will feel like youre breaking it but youre not. Maybe other people knew this but I didnt. Anyway, once I got them on I was very happy with them!
