These are VERY VERY SHEER. like GOSSAMER. If you have a dark wrapping paper to accent the ribbons, they will look very elegant and I highly recommend. However, if you're trying to make normal bows and things for white/red Christmas paper, I don't think this will make enough of an impact unless you're making a combo with a darker or more substantial ribbon. As a layering ribbon it would be good for more complicated projects.

This package of three different colored ribbons is excellent to have before the holiday season. The yellow and green are both tasteful shades of color. The white is delicate and a little shimmery. The ribbons are narrow enough to wrap around several times and create your own bows. They are not as sheer or transparent as I had hoped, but overall, they are a good value.
