So I bought this to replace an older watch I had that the battery wasn't lasting. Before people say we'll it's only $25, let's be clear I'm not counting steps, checking heart rate, tracking workouts, or anything else. I simply needed something that plays music via Bluetooth to my Bluetooth headphones. It's 2024, pretty established and simple technology or so you'd think. Anyway, I bought this brick and starting using it as I workout regularly and have a hankering for specific music when I lift. I babied this thing, it sat nicely on the the chair 6ft from where I lift. The first 30 days weren't too bad conveniently. I would occasionally have signal interruptions but nothing more than I had with my previous watch. Quick sidenote, I have a Mac and the song upload took a little time but wasn't too bad. Now, we are nearly 40+ days in and the thing starts quirking more. The bluetooth connection is getting more sporadic and honestly ticking me off at this point. Then one day, in the middle of my workout no less, the freaking thing goes silent. I look at the screen and I no longer have my 45 tracks on it. Yep, they were all erased magically. I went ahead and reloaded my songs and wouldn't you know like 3 weeks later same damn thing happens. I'm about ready to chuck the trash in the trash but I didnt currently have a backup, so I gave it one more shot. At this point I went on vacation for a period of time and didn't use the device. When I came back home, I made sure it was charged and went right back to it. Everyday for the entire last week the bluetooth connection got progressively worse to the point it said it was playing via bluetooth but NOTHING come out of the bluetooth headphones. Plus when you disconnect your earbuds from bluetooth the device, at least in the past, would automatically play through it's speaker. Yeah, not anymore. Then when you'd go to try and go back a song it won't even do that. Instead of going back a full song it goes back on a countdown, like it's rewinding the song. Another new feature it's never done before and my settings are the same. Lastly, as of yesterday you no longer can even turn on bluetooth, it turned itself off and wont let me turn it back on. Long story short I'm currently back to my old watch until I find an actual replacement and not some imposter. Really,as I said above this deserves NO STARS!!! Sorry for the long review, but I wanted you to get info so you DONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID!!

I bought this to use as both an MP3 Player and a recorder. The recorded sound isn't great, but usable as voice notes. It's not for long recordings. As an MP3 Player, it has wonderful sound quality when used with earphones, and just tolerable without headphones. It has lots of space to download lots of audio files. The clip on is definitely useful: it's actually one of the main reasons for buying it. The buttons don't say what they are for, and one has to experiment. Practically, one can't use it as a video player: screen is too small. To the designers: what about creating a design that can be used on the wrist?

I finally figured out how to make it work the way I wanted (Shuffle all music, resume playback without playing the same first song every time, get a particular song to play first). It's easy but took a lot of experimenting. Find the music icon and tap it. Tap "All Songs". Tap the first song, A screen with a Vinyl record appears and the song plays. On the left side there is an Icon that rotates between, in sequence, repeat (2 different repeats) and shuffle. Once you get there you can shut it off and resume where you were by turning it on and selecting music, then "Last played" and it will resume. Lots of other functions are supported but the ones I listed are how I will use it. Searching for an artist, album or song is almost impossible because you have to scroll down one line at a time. Before I figured out how to resume without starting at the first song I decided I wanted "Little Red Corvette" as my first song because I will use this in my Little Red Corvette. The only way I could get it to be first was to load it first by itself then load all the other songs en masse. You can make playlists but I suspect that more than four will mean that you have to scroll through the list one line at a time. All in all, this will work very well for how I intend to use it.

PROS: A whole lot of amazing electronics packed into a tiny MP3 player. Yes does more than that and probably well but I bought for MP3. Charged as soon as arrived. Took a while before I remembered controls are also touch screen. Buttons on side do a lot, but you really need touch screen. Touch screen works. After initial charge everything was amazingly easy to set up. Time, Date (day,mo,yr) bit different, Won't be using for an alarm or many of the other bells and whistle. Here is one that amazed me was that the record function with microphone was clearer than any of my other players I've had in the past. Oh and I totally forgot THRIFTY PRICE well under $30 and touch screen too. Great sound. Bluetooth pairing super easy. Love that the volume buttons are so easy to operate. 128GB chip capability I put in 64gb and worked with no problems whatsoever. Even accessed the chip via my computer while installed in the player. Speaker works too. Smaller than a box of dental floss. Love the size. Instructions have additional features mentioned that I may not have included, well worth reading. CONS: This would be perfect if it was more Military Grade with metal case and maybe glass screen it has neither. Definitely not water proof and would not even test anything close to stress test with this. Battery may be a bit sketchy, miss the %charge indication other devices have but for under $30 didn't expect one, time will tell how good battery really is (charge first). This was a great find yes I'd buy it again and recommend to a friend. This is a risk worth taking. Great sound. Easy use. Lastly be sure to go all the way to the bottom of each menu so as to know all your options.
