Dont need a screen all I want is mp3 and its battery lasts forever. The speaker function is perfect too

The on/off button on the side stopped working after a handful of uses. Total waste of money.

Problem: Kid is going away to sleep-away camp this summer and they aren't allowed to bring anything with a screen. Solution: Buy this anyway because it is hard to find music players that don't have a screen these days and hope they realize this is not an internet-abled device. I don't understand why other folks had issues loading music. I just went to youtube, got music links, converted to mp3 and downloaded, and when I had amassed all the songs I wanted, simply moved the files over via Windows File Explorer after plugging the player into my computer. Easy as pie. What I DO have trouble with is connecting this thing to bluetooth. I emailed the seller and they sent me directions that tell me to go to the main screen and scroll down. I think I am savvy enough to handle that and I am telling you, there is no option to connect via bluetooth. So for now, my kid uses the cord that connects to her bt headphones. If I figure it out, great. If not, she can still use this. By the way, the speaker on this is pretty good. In terms of it being loud enough to hear. I am not saying that it is a clean or quality sound. But my kid can literally walk the dog with this on speaker and hear it just fine. I consider this a win for $30. She has something she can listen to both at home and away at camp this summer, and I don't have to constantly hear her begging to use my phone while she walks the dog.

We gave this to our 4 year old for Christmas and he loves it. We downloaded patch the pirate CDs that we bought and he is crazy about it. We bought child safe headphones with a sound limit. The mp3 player will get really loud if you dont monitor it. We have to help him get it started but that is expected.

Pros: Super small and easy to hold for small hands. Comes with a lanyard - makes it much harder to lose! Charges fast and super easy to put music onto. Hook up to PC and it just shows up as a drive. Done. Comes with headphones : one less requirement for anyone starting from nothing. USB-C. AV Out. Speakers. Intuitive, simplistic interface (assuming your kid isn't already versed in touch screen interfaces). Bluetooth. SD Card. There is PLENTY of internal space but the added SD card option is wonderful. Cons: We couldn't get the MINUTES to update on the time settings. No issue with HOUR or DATE, so I think it's just a bug. The headphones are very small (short distance between ear to ear) but the buds themselves are rather large. So while they're a good size for our daughters head, the buds are too big for her ears. So I'm not sure who these headphones are for. The interface is very simplistic. I also put this in the Pros column on purpose, but this limits how much you can really accomplish. More on that below. Perfect device for a first time listener without many functionality requirements and obviously a great choice for the price! If you just want a quick and cheap way to let your kid listen to what they want when they want and you own the music, this is the device for you. We also liked that this didn't have much in the way of additional features. It keeps it from looking/feeling/acting like a phone/distraction for young children. All that it (really) does is play music. Keeps it simple. UPDATE: My daughter had hers on the carpeted floor and accidently stepped on it with bare feet, and it put enough pressure on the screen to brick the whole thing. Not very durable!!!
