Extras are great

Everything you need for extra people to be included in the fun. We have a number of small diamond painting items. (Key chains and butterflies for planters) These extra tools are useful when we have a number of people working on small items that come in the same package.

Theres nothing wrong with this kit other than I think that its over-priced for whats included. It includes five pens (for picking up one diamond at a time but they do have metal tips which is a plus), 20 small plastic resealable bags, six trays, and five small squares of glue. The quality on everything seems to be good.

Good value. Great for newbies

I am new to diamond painting - I had ordered a painting to do and I decided to order this as well because I knew the painting only came with 1 tray and pen. This a great value. Recommended for people new to diamond art or as a gift for someone who likes diamond art. I am so glad I had extra trays so I could have multiple colors in trays at once so switch back and forth, or to keep the diamonds in the tray if I know I'll be using that color again soon. The bags are on the bigger side - big enough to fit an opened bag of gems in there/folded in half. Rather than pour the gems into a bag, I like putting the entire bag in so I can see the number/letter since it's difficult to write on these baggies. I was glad to have the extra and bigger baggies. The wax/cement is cut into small pieces, so you only need to open one a time so less likely to dry out. Although I just put the plastic back on after peeling it back to use and it stays soft and ready to use. The pens are fine. Seems the same as others, although a little wider than the one that came with my painting. The trays lines are a little bit higher than the lines that came with my painting as well - it seems easier to shake the gems and have them lined up/upright in these purple trays. I'm wondering if it's because the lines are higher. Anyways, it's a great value and I'm glad I decided to order this along with my painting!
