I got this so I could paint a bag for a friends wedding. The groom is a big bird fella, the bride a nature lover. I used their wedding colors so it was slightly unconventional in this application, but it turned out so well and was so easy to use that I am looking around my place to find spots where I can add it. Because it comes in pieces, the size of it is up to you, and the stencil itself is so well cut that I didnt have very much bleeding. It stayed true to the stencil and I was so happy with the way it turned out.

If you decorate cookies these are not the stencils for you. They fit in the Stencil Genie but the designs are all the way to the corners so there is no way you can center the design.

This set of 9 sturdy stencils, have gorgeous designs. They are a nice size at about 6" X 6" with the actual design area about 5" X 5". I plan to use these for stenciling on paper or fabric and, tracing on fabric for hand stitching designs. One section or 1/3 of each design could be used in a corner. They could be used as a repeat or mixed circle design pattern. You could also use each stencil as a partial design running off the edge of whatever you're working on. These stencils come with a small paintbrush and have many design possibilities.

In trying to be fair - I over starred - I would give them three stars, but I dont know if its fair since its for my purposes , I would love to as they are very unique and The one time it was successful for my purposes it was gorgeous, Unfortunately, the level of professionalism I need them for just isnt enough as they are too flimsy for multi media projects. I find that Molding paste seeps through the stencils and I can Never get clean lines . That Becomes very frustrating when youre working with stencils. If youre using them for color pencils, or for just regular paint, although I suspect paint would probably do the same thing, It may be worth a try since the price is so reasonable.
