This light is small and compact, fitting perfectly into our HOB filter. The light disrupts the life cycle of Algae in the water and clears it up very quickly if your tap water has additives that cause algae bloom. (Like ours) It doesnt have the unfortunate side effects of many chemicals to clear your water. The pictures are taken day one of use, day 3 and 2 weeks later!

I literally tried everything to get our Beta's fish tank clear. Every time I cleaned the tank, within two days it would get foggy and green. I finally saw this product on ZeeBooth and thought I would give it a try based off the reviews. I am so glad that I did! This little light definitely cleared up our tank. I was a little disappointed that it wouldn't fit inside the filter area, but that's my fault because I thought the UV light was going to be smaller. We have a 3 gallon tank, so the filter area isn't huge. The first day, I just removed the filter cartridge itself so that I could fit the light inside. I left the light in there for a full day. Then I removed it, replaced the filter cartridge inside and then I just sat the light on top of the filter area to where it was still shining onto the water. I left it like that for another day, and with cleaning the filter cartridge a couple times, the tank is now crystal clear. I did get a little nervous with leaving it in so long because the UV light was giving off some kind of weird smell (not a burning smell), so I just encourage people to keep an eye on that. Other than that, I would highly recommend. I will now only use it when algae starts blooming again and I can see a change in the color of the water. Our Beta fish seems happier also.

Love this little light. Tucked it in my hob filter back and no more crazy algae blooms or algae issues. Kept me from having to use harmful chemical treatments. So easy to use, super cheap and solves an issue many of us with aquariums can have. I have had mine for months and still works great. Super small light fits in very small places. Comes with a suction cup to hold in place and a switch by the plug to turn on/ off. Love it.

Great lights. I ordered over 3 months ago and it solved the problems in my aquariums. I have 7. I also got the 15w and it did fit in my hob marinland, both 100gal and 40gal, and worked very quickly. If you want it to clear up quick get the 15 and the 3w for normal maintenance. I just ordered 4 more 3w. It cleared my betta tank up in a couple weeks with a low flow hob filter.

Doesn't work that create for the algae in my frog tank. However, my water is crystal clear. So far (several months) has not messed with my water parameters.
