These flavorful salts have been a delightful addition to my cooking routine, encouraging me to explore new flavors. Initially skeptical about licorice salt, I found it surprisingly tasty, especially on popcorn. The lemon salt pairs wonderfully with fish, enhancing its flavor.

These jars of salts are very cute and tasty. My main complaint is that there are no labels after you peel the plastic to remove it. Everything comes off. My solution was to use a sharpie, but it's so inelegant for something so quaint and interesting. It deserves better than my handwriting.

At first look, this looks like a good commercial package. However, upon opening, you see that the outer "box" is just a nicely printed and folded piece of cardstock. The jars, however, look like someone bought a bulk pack of jars, filled them, and sold them. None of the jars have labels, and mismatched color lids. I did sample the spices anyway and they did taste fine, although it was unusual to have salt mixed with the chives.

I'm really enjoying these flavorful salts because I'm not very experimental with cooking and these are giving me good reasons to try new things. The idea of licorice salt sounded so odd to me that I had to look up what it was used for. I tasted a bit of it, and it's not at all what I expected, either. It's quite good on popcorn, believe it or not. The rest of the salts are also very good. The lemon salt is great on fish. The jars are not sealed but I guess what I lack in experimental cooking, I make up for in adventurous taste testing, so I dove right in anyway. No regrets, this salt is great. The jars are not individually labeled so I just cut out the names from the packaging and taped them on the sides of the jars. Easy peasy. With these I can feel a bit like Salt Bae (sprinkle sprinkle) in my own home. I really like them, and I would recommend them if you're not squeamish about unsealed jars.

The jars don't really look like the photographs. The jars all smelled terrible like chemical cleaners or artificial perfumes. It's not marked with any valid nutritional information either. I couldn't taste them because I don't know what exactly was done to these or what's inside the jars. Looking up the address in Italy shows a picture of a bunch of brick shed looking buildings. It may be a mailing address only but it's very confusing. I'm Italian heritage, I've been to Italy many times in my life and this really isn't what I'm used to. The salt doesn't really look like the item photos. The jars didn't have a protective seal on the caps either so there's no way to determine if these were opened at any point. I may have gotten a bad batch but based on what I received I really can't recommend these. They're a great idea but I'm just not sure about this as it is now.
