My cat loathes being brushed. Doesn't mater the style of brush/comb, how hard or soft, even those grooming gloves are a no-go for him. I didn't have much hope in this, but he's shedding like crazy and so I wanted to try one with steam to see if it would do any better. I don't know if he can feel the steam and likes it or what, but he actually let me brush him and thanks to the steam function it puled up all the loose hairs and was easy to dispose of because it all stuck to the brush for easy grabbing. I'm so happy I tried this. Its rechargeable and charging port has a cover to keep it safe from the water. Easy to fill, starts steaming as soon as you press on. Also comes with the charging cord as well.

This came with no instructions. When I first took it out of the box the cord it came with wasnt plugging into the pet grooming tool. The interior portion of the plug was misaligned and it took awhile to get things realigned and for it to plug in. The water basin was easy to fill but it doesnt fully drain making the device hard to store between uses. Getting all the features of the device to work was random and didnt follow any patterns. Sometimes long clicking would turn it off other times it would make steam come out. For the first hour I used it the lights didnt work at all then for about an hour I couldnt get them to turn off. Water mist would not turn on then it wouldnt turn off. Eventually I put the device away with the lights still on but otherwise off. When I checked on it the next day the lights were off but it still had battery and vibrated and when I couldnt get it to light up a second time after about 5 minutes of trying every combo I could think of I was just done with it. Cats arent terribly into it. May try them again and will update if they seem to change their minds. A lukewarm initial reception doesnt necessarily make it a long term dud.

My cat absolutely LOVES this brush! All I have to do is turn it on, and she comes running and purrs up a storm while getting her misty brush and massage. She is trained to enjoy these, not be afraid, you might need to do the same. If your cat enjoys being brushed, start slowly with the massage and mist turned off, then add that later while she's enjoying being brushed. It doesn't take long to train them to like it. Be sure you read the instructions because without them I couldn't figure out how to turn on/off the different settings (with the light, without, steam only, massage only, etc) This is a great little multifunction brush! Recommend!

Well, I had to give my dog a bath this morning because she had gleefully rolled around in feces so I pulled out this 4 in 1 brush from GooCare to see how it would do. It charged well. I wish that the silicone cap for the charging port was attached as opposed to just being loose. I picture that getting lost. There were absolutely no instructions. If this were just a plain brush that would not be a problem, but there are different functions on the brush, and I had to figure them out on my own. Its not rocket science, but some instructions would be nice. Especially over the UV function. How long do you use it? The silicone cap for the water reservoir lifted only slightly, then I had to twist it backwards to be able to pour the water in. That was a little bit inconvenient. The bristles are firm instead of a soft silicone material so I was careful with how much pressure I applied. During the bath, the mist and vibration were not a big deal, but I can picture this being beneficial when just brushing. It is going to help keep the hair trapped when you are brushing, and I picture the vibration feeling good. Today, my dog was just too freaked out over the bath to appreciate that feature. Once we had her dry, I did go back over her with the UV light. I am going to say this is a decent unit. Cons are the reservoir size, cap for the charging port and the water hole, but the biggest is the lack of written instructions

The GooCare 4-in-1 UV Spray Vibrating Massage Grooming Brush (UV + Vibration) is a great handheld, rechargeable, multi-functional, kitty brush. This brush is high quality - it's well made, well designed, is easy/comfortable to hold/control, as well as it is portable, and all of it's functions work well. It is easy to use, once you can actually figure out how to use it (of that makes sense). It came without instructions anywhere inside, or on the outside, of the box, and as of the last time I checked it's ZeeBooth page, there were not any instructions to be found on it either. My significant other, and I, just had to mess around with it, using trial, and error, in order to determine how to get each of it's functions to turn on/off - as they can be used individually, as well as combined (examples: can use the light, massage, and mist, each individually/alone, and/or can use massage, with mist, and light, and/or massage, with mist, and/or mist, with light, and/or light, with massage, etc - all combinations). To get them each to function, a combination of short, and long, presses on it's power button (the only button it has) have to be used. I'lll write down the exact combinations of presses it requires for each function/combination of functions, and update/edit this review to include it. I think the only downside to this brush (besides the lack of instructions) is if you've a more sensitive kitty. Mine has been kind of fearful of it's vibration mode. It's not exactly loud to me, but I think it could be toned down - both with it's noise, and it's vibration strength. For my kitty, I think she'd like it a lot more if there were lower sensitivity levels on the brush. I'm trying to see if she'll get used to it over time, but it's a really slow process, so if it ends up working, and she likes it more later, I'll also update for that too - that'll just take a lot longer. Overall, I think it's a good, useful, brush. It's a great value, being affordably priced, I like that it has several functions, as well as it's handheld, and portable, design. I'm giving a 3 out of 5 stars rating, only because of the lack of instructions, and the vibration mode scaring my kitty. Like I said, if things with her get better with that though, I'll update. EDIT/UPDATE - Instructions: 1 Short/Quick Press = Mist On 2 Short/Quick Presses = UV Light On 1 Long Press = Vibration To turn each function off, just press the power button the same way as turning it on (example: turn off mist = 1 Short/Quick Press).
