4 Pack Oxygen Adapter Enrichment Port Connector fits CPAP Tubing Hose Model 1642...

As many people know it's sometimes easier/cheeper to buy what you need other then trying to work through health insurance. This oxygen port is the perfect example. In the second and third photo you can see it in place on a ResMed Cpap. You can place it before or just past the small elbow that comes with the machine. Important with the oxygen port placed near the machine you can NOT use the heated hose. It will not work that way. If you must have the heated hose, the Ox port could be placed at the mask end but I didn't try that method. I believe that would make the mask too awkward, at least for me. My only fear when buying this oxygen port was that at might be made of thin brittle plastic that would break easy. That is not the case. This is well made and feels like it will last for a long time. The plastic feels stronger than the elbow that comes with the ResMed machine. So quality is good. I gave 5 stars cause I believe, with reasonable handling, these 4 oxygen ports will outlast the Cpap machine.

This fits pretty well into the cpap machine and the hose. And the port for the oxygen is well sized too. The material seems a little sensitive, like I can break it easy, so I'm just a little more careful. Not too sure of the material its made of.....makes me a little nervous to be breathing in any fumes it may give off, so would have been nice to get a more detailed instruction sheet. Overall this is okay, but there may be better ones out there.

My mother-in-law is dependent upon an oxygen tank and she found these tubing hose connectors to work perfectly with her setup. Good quality product.

I was looking for a simple right angle oxygen adapter but these became available. I wasn't sure if they would work as well, but it turns out the oxygen inlet can swivel to the direction you'd like to align the oxygen hose. The connection seems fairly tight, tight enough not to affect your leakage scores and to maintain pressure. Even so, I think I'd prefer a simple right angle connection with no swivel - I just like the simplicity and fool-proof nature of having no un-needed joints.
