In recent years, the manufacturers of many adhesives have been forced to alter their products in order to comply with federal volatile organic compound (VOC) restrictions. Often, these alterations produced products which were inferior to the originals. (Liquid Nails immediately comes to mind.) This glue was ordered in hopes that it would be a reasonable substitute for the clear version of Liquid Nails which was formerly available in similarly sized tubes. These B7000 tubes are not typical in that they are not sealed by a thin aluminum disk which would normally need to be pierced using the non-threaded end of the plastic caps. Instead, there is a metal nozzle on the tubes which is filled with a straight-pin-sized rod whenever the screw cap is in place. This should help to keep the tube opening from clogging. If you are looking for a VOC-rich adhesive (as I was), I think you will be happy with this glue: It brings back the days of plastic models and airplane glue . . . No, no, none of that getting high on the fumes -- Just the memories. When the plastic bag was opened, the VOCs began to do their thing: Become volatile. Two of the tube caps were not completely tight. However, I will be storing them in sealed bags in order to preserve them for as long as possible. The adhesive is clear and not of the Liquid Nails consistency at all. It is more like airplane glue. There is no information about contents on the label. Nothing about VOC, flammability, in case of emergency, etc. Which makes me think this has to be some really "bad" stuff. As in an old-school type glue. The label uses a very small and difficult to read font. What I could decipher gave me the impression the label was not written by someone all that familiar with English. It worked well during a quick test on a plastic material. More testing will follow.

This is my favorite for rhinestone applications. The precision tip is really helpful to keep you from getting blobs. It's great to stock up on it in the larger size.

I do a lot of glueing on different surfaces so I asked my husband to order this set of B7000 glue for me. I have used the little B7000 tubes and they require too much pressing to get the glue out, and though naturally the pin and tube opening have to be very small, it is very difficult for me to close the tube. So I was excited to try the big tube! The glue presses out much more easily, and it is less difficult (though still difficult) to close the tube. (Idea for manufacturers -- what if you made the pin a different color?) However I I had some textured paper that wouldn't stick with regular glue, so I tried the B6000 and it didn't stick either. I was very surprised. On the other "embellishments" I used the glue for, I found you really have to press the item down, and even then I had some movement before the embellishments dried. Anyway, it will work for me for most things and four tubes should last me a long time!

The media could not be loaded. I have similar glue in the mini 10ml size and really liked the little precision tip! I use a lot of glue so Im super happy that there is a bigger size with the same precision tip. I was thinking that since its so much bigger than my little glue it would be more difficult to control but its actually around the same! So Ill save my little glues for more dainty work. :)
