These are a bit tough to load due to the thin opening so be judicious about your products you load into here. Thicker items such as moisturizers that come in a pot might not work in these (it may be better to use a small open top container for thicker items). This product is definitely intended for pump-able products. I used these for my toners (very thin liquid) and for a serum and liquid highlighter. I loaded the liquids (toners) by pouring them directly in, and pumped in my thicker serum and liquid highlighter. So far the toner hasnt leaked with turning the containers upside down and shaking them about - not sure how theyll withstand the cabin air pressure changes of a flight. It took about 10 pumps for my products to be dispensed while kept upright, and I had tested how the pump worked after cleaning these and filling the inside with water. Overall Im happy with how Im able to bring along small amounts of products I dont need too much of but dont want to change my routine while traveling without, and Im happy Im able to prevent air exposure for my products!

I bought this set to have smaller liquid travel options. Unfortunately, it didnt pump my face lotion efficiently, and then the bottle cracked when it tipped over on my bathroom counter, shattering it. Wish I had chosen another option.

From my wife: The included syringe only worked with my serums. It didnt pull enough of a vacuum with my moisturizer. I ended up spooning moisturizer in the bottle. I tried both a serum and moisturizer and both pumps didnt raise at all. I kept pumping for a long time. Im glad I didnt use my expensive skin care to try this product.

I like the concept of this as I travel all the time for work and hate checking a bag. But the concept needs some tinkering. I have a gel to liquid serum that comes in a similar vacuum pump but a large one. Pumped some into one of these and I guess the consistency didnt work well with these tubes because it wouldnt come out, so I was a little frustrated Id wasted some of my expensive serum. Lotion was definitely too thick. Foundation works perfectly. So it may fit your needs or some of your needs but not all.
