I am a quilter and like to try my own free motion. These rulers are made of a flexible acrylic others that Ive had similar are easy to break. I tried two of the three and with more practice I think I can manage them. Not as easy as it looks. But will try on my next quilt. You will need a small sewing machine foot there is also a difference in machines. These fit and work well with my baby lock and a low shank ruler foot.

Nice templates for repeating pattern quilting

You can buy more expensive sets or these (or both). You do need the additional presser foot that has the thicker needle collar to make sure you don't snap these templates. The patterns are nice and can be used in combination for all-over quilting or borders. I recommend this product.

Gave only 4 stars because there are no pictures or instructions. I had to print the pictures from the listing to store with the templates so I would know what the finished product would look like.

Handy guidance for simple quilting motifs.

The Kapyoo 3Pcs Free Motion Quilting Rulers and Templates set for me has been a nice assist to free motion quilting on my domestic sewing machine. I did not find any advantage to using it on a high speed mid or longarm quilting machine. The exit slot on the template is designed to allow the needle and thread to pass from one end of the design, NOT the sewing machine foot. I found that to be awkward. It takes a while to get the hang of being confined to a template. It is critical to have the correct presser foot. I found in the end that using each as a stand alone motif worked better than trying to connect the design repeatedly. Although there are no instructions included with the template, the description and methods of use in the product listing are very helpful. If you are gifting these do be sure to include a link for that page.
