Great little filters

What can you say, great simple filters. Great for fry and shrimp tanks

I did not need four at the time but it was the best deal I was getting now I've used three out of four of them and have multiple tanks set up with ease already having them on hand while still spending the same amount of money as the rest of the places that sell things like this or other products

I'll never go back to regular filters!

I will NEVER go back to regular filters! I stumbled upon sponge filters about a year ago and was pretty skeptical. But after talking to the man at the local pet store, I gave one a try and that is all it took. I'm now running four delicate tanks and breeding fish and these are all I use. Easy to install, you don't have to replace them. When you do a water change, just squeeze them out a few times under running water and put them right back in (don't forget tap water conditioner). Excellent quality and they work great!

Great value but wasn't enough for a 10 gallon.

The price is great! However, they just didn't cut it for my 10-gallon shrimp tanks. I ended up going with a power sponge filter and it's much better. What I do like about these, is that all of the pieces can be taken apart and rearranged into different things, or smaller filters (as shown in photo I made a smaller one for a brine shrimp tank) I have also used the parts to make egg tumblers. I havep also just used the sponges to grow beneficial bacteria for use in seeding new aquariums. So I am still happy with my purchase and would order again for this reason.

Great sponge filters and inexpensive!

These are very versatile filters with an easily adjustable output tube and multi positional sponge neck. I can face them up or down very easily. The sponges stay put nicely, a great pore size and remove easily for cleaning. All the parts work very smoothly. Suction is very good. I have two running on a 60 breeder and one in each 10 gallon. Working very well and tanks look great!
