Small but mighty

This air dry clay glaze elevates the look of your finished product. This makes the item look finished and not messy. It is a small bottle, so wont go super far, but is worth it.

Easy to use - works

This is a small bottle, but it does work and is easy to use. I like the matte finish. I like the way it looks, and am glad to have something to protect my projects!

NOT waterproof

I used this varnish to seal several small flower vases I made for a friend's wedding reception. They were varnished well over 24 hours prior to use - which is the suggested drying/ curing time. All of the directions were followed to a T. The vases were filled with water and flowers from around 11am until about 7pm. Less than 12 hours. According to the product page this varnish should make your clay pieces waterproof, but at the end of the reception, the insides of the vases had become badly cracked and peeling, and in some cases, the clay underneath the paint was softening. If you need something waterproof - do NOT use this varnish.

Great matte finish

There isn't a lot in this bottle, so it's perfect if you want to test out some smaller projects (like small clay jewelry as I did.) It does do a great matte glaze/finish. It does look better than plain clay. It dries pretty quickly. I really like it; I just have to get more as there isn't too much in this bottle.

Works well, a bit pricey

I received this in the matte and love that it will protect my projects from cracking or getting scratched. It is easy to use and just brushes on your project after the paint has dried. Like others have noted, this bottle is small and a bit pricey. I am intrigued by the description that it can also be used on wood, metal, or artificial flowers to protect them. I have not used this product on these items but may try at some point.
